Some Big Thank You’s
By Jason in Business, Motivational, Personal Life | 6 comments
When I started my Internet marketing business full time back in 2005, I remember that amazing feeling of getting checks in the mail for my efforts. Back then just getting a check for $25 for example was amazing. I mean don’t get me wrong, I still value a every single dollar that I am blessed enough to receive, but it’s just that these days the checks have gotten to be a little bit bigger.
Let me explain.
I’m just glancing over the gross numbers here as my accountant and I prepare to do my taxes this week, and I will be up over 2 million dollars in gross sales for the 2nd year in a row. I would have never though that I, someone who barely graduated high school, and had no drive or motivation for anything other than drinking and chasing girls would end up with a multi-million dollar business.
Now… going back to the subject of this email, there’s no way I would have made it this far along in my business without the help of the following amazing people and organizations.
First I’d like to thank my family for their love and support. Family is the most important things we have in our short and precious lives.
The United State’s Marine Corps. Without my time spent in this amazing organization I can say without doubt my life would not be the same. Discipline, attention to detail, respect for others, hard work, determination, dedication. All of those things and more were instilled in me. As hard as it was at times, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made to join the U.S. Military. These values have made me a better person, and will stick with me forever.
Now to the business end of things. First and foremost I want to thank Dan Lok. Thank you Dan for helping me think big and to remind me that anything is possible. I wouldn’t be where I am today without your help, guidance, and tell it like it is attitude!
Gary King for being an awesome graphic designer, and for always giving me great advice over the years.
Brian Edmondson for being my best friend in the business, and someone I can talk to about anything.
Mike Filsaime for always setting a great example and for helping me to remember where I came from by helping those who are just starting out.
Rachel Rofe for just being cool and for being an awesome and fast copywriter. Maybe one day I’ll work up the courage to drive cross country and life the California lifestyle.
Brian McElroy for your amazing charitable work. What you are doing for The University of Fondwa is really amazing. You are motivating me to get my non-profit off the ground.
Tim Knox for being a great friend, and for helping me out when I was just getting started. You are a truly funny guy and a great businessman.
Michael Cheney a truly genuine guy who’s not afraid to do his own thing.
Guys like John Reese, Frank Kern, Brad Fallon, Andy Jenkins, Jeff Walker, Yanik Silver, Armand Morin, and Rich Schefren for setting the bar high.
Shawn Casey for sharing your wisdom.
Jeff Paul, Jim Fleck, and Shawn Casey again, for sending me some of the biggest paychecks I have ever gotten. Your products are awesome and I appreciate the opportunities to work with you.
Willie Crawford, you are one of the most unique, sincere, and wise Internet marketers out there.
There is a ton of other people I want to thank, but this post would go on forever. If I left you out I’m sorry, just know in my mind I appreciate you. ![]()

Hi James. Semper Fi-all the way. Former Gunny here. I have been subscribed to your newsletter a while now. We are retired here in Texas. As a Vietnam vet of 1965 & 1966, I know what t=you mean about your adjectives mentioned above.
As a newbie to internet marketing, I always read new things. Still don’t know nor understand the “how to” of it yet though. All these “guru’s” ??? want is your money for the “what to do” aspects.
You don’t do business that way, is the reason I am still a subscriber of your newsletter service. Keep up the good work. Maybe some day I will understand all this better & start making multiple streams of income.
Now that I know you are a fellow Marine, my attention to your emails has just been increased. Take care.
Best regards,
Jim

Aww, Jason!
a) I love you
b) I’ve been awake for less than 15 minutes now, you just set the tone for my day.
c) You should totally drive to California. You know you’re more than welcome to stay here when you do… I’ll be happy to show you around and make you take the plunge.
Which brings me to….
d) Whenever I talk about the people I work with in IM, I always mention how fortunate I am to attract the “good” people… I hear horror stories all the time about bad partners, being ripped off, etc.
Annnyway, point is, you’re always one of the first people I think of when I think about stellar people.
You’re an awesome person and a genuine good guy who really cares about others.
So hey, did I mention I love you?

Our son is in the USMC and we have a whole new idea of what that is all about! I think that I know what you mean!
He recently returned home from Iraq and our small town gave him the red carpet treatment! Take a look: http://WelcomeHomeAndrew.com.
