House Hunting Fun
By Jason in Just for Fun, Personal Life | 2 comments
I spent a large chunk of time over the last couple days house hunting. I looked at over 20 homes and I still didn’t find one I loved.
Am I too picky? No… I don’t think so. I know pretty quickly when I walk in to a home if I will like it or not. The condo I’m living in now… I looked at a bunch of places before seeing this one and I knew right when I walked through the door that I was going to like it.
There’s just so much on my mind right now and so many challenges with business and life. I am dreading the 500+ mile move from Virginia back to my home state of Massachusetts and it’s even not happening for a couple months. I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it, but it won’t be easy. But hey life isn’t always cake and ice cream now is it!
I look forward to the day things are settled down in my life, I’m all moved in to a new house that I love, business is going smooth, and I am able to light a few candles and take a nice long bath in my Jacuzzi tub. (Having a Jacuzzi is one of my requirements, is that too much to ask!!)

I know what you are going through, I looked at around 50 houses before actually moving. It is difficult to find something good normally.

I think the most important step is to be realistic in what you can and cannot do. I’ve seen so many first time home buyers jump into something they cannot afford only because they have big dreams.
