Moving Update!

Well I sold my condo in Virginia Beach on Thursday and bought my new home in Boston on Monday. Thankfully everything went pretty smooth including the 600 mile drive in the fully packed 17 foot U-Haul tugging my car, and having my dogs in the front seat. Maybe I’ll make an entirely different post on the actual moving process…. it was quite an adventure for sure.

I’m a single guy and still everyday I wake up in awe. I still can’t believe this big beautiful home is mine. Once my basement gets finished (in progress) the house built in 2003 will have just under 5,000 square feet, be in total privacy in the woods on 1.5 acres, fancy kitchen with granite countertops and new appliances, steam shower and Jacuzzi in the master bath, sun room, vaulted ceilings, crown molding, oversized 2 car garage, the list goes on and on and on.

To think I was in massive debt only 4 or so years ago and to now look at where I am I am just so thankful. I am very blessed with good health, great family, wonderful dogs, all the material things ill ever want, great looks (wink wink!), and this list also goes on and on.

I suppose there’s always struggles with life, and I know there will be in the future too but the bad times made the good times so much sweeter that’s for sure. I’ve had my share of bad days, always keeping in mind everything is going to be alright if I make good decisions in business and in life.

So if you are struggling, remember there’s always light at the end of the tunnel! Like the old saying goes one day at a time. I’m going to get back to unpacking, but I will definitely update the blog more now that I’m getting more settled. Carpe Diem!

Oh ya, here’s a few pics…

Hey Jason, glad you made it up here…

We know your marketing is working when you get a house like that up in this area…not cheap to say the least!

    Have fun unpacking!

    Hey Jason

Nice looking house. And your point “one day at a time” is a great one for anyone wanting to model what you’ve done.

Take things one step and one day at a time. Because everyone starts at the beginning, even the ones making big bucks.

Just remember, if the light at the end of the tunnel seems a long way off, you can get closer by just keeping on keeping on.

Sorry to have to say this Jason, but I don’t think that your new house is nice at all !

    I think It’s Bl***y Fantastic…….
Now that’s what I would call a house.

I’m very Jealous of you Jason, as living in the UK, properties like that are very rare.

You can keep your quant English country properties, I want one of these, I suppose I’ll have to start saving the pennies ?

    Jason, nice house.

What prompted you to move to MA from VA? I’m sure it’s nice up there now, but wait til winter comes!

How long did the condo take to sell? Things are moving very slowly here.

    Hi Jason,

A really nice looking house. Looking real comfortable to me.

In Singapore such houses are very expensive. Hope I can own a house like this in Singapore.

    Enjoy
